Nellore: “YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jaganmohan Reddy has taken up the two-day hunger strike as he is unable to digest the people’s response to the welfare schemes taken up by the Telugu Desam government,” claimed TDP politburo member and former minister S Chandramohan Reddy here on Sunday.

Reddy was speaking after launching a bike rally in the town opposing Jagan’s fast.

He described the rally as a ‘counter’ to the hunger strike launched by the YSRCP leader.

The former minister expressed surprise over Jagan’s allegation of irregularities in the administration within months of TDP forming the government.

He demanded the Kadapa MLA to surrender his illegal assets to the State government.

Reddy claimed that several former State ministers and IAS officers were ‘forced’ to spend time in prisons for committing the sin of trusting Jagan.
