EPIC card has only the name, photo and address of a voter but Aadhaar card will have the biometric details also which will help in weeding out the bogus ones. It will help in preparing near 100 per cent voter database, Brahma said. He said the National Voter Service Portal has been functioning from January 25 and Indians anywhere in the world can visit the portal and register themselves as voters at their chosen place in the country.
