1 Crore Shivalingas for Sivaratri celebrations in Vizag The Maha Sivaratri is being conducted for the past 25 years with public’s involvement and with one crore Shivalingas, Maha Kumbhabhishekam will be performed said Subbarami Reddy.
Vizag: T. Subbarami Reddy, Member of Rajya Sabha said that for the welfare of the people of Vizag, he is conducting Maha Sivaratri festival in a grand manner.
He said that from the Hudhud cyclone, blessings of Lord Siva have protected the city. The Maha Sivaratri is being conducted for the past 25 years with public’s involvement and with one crore Shivalingas, Maha Kumbhabhishekam will be performed said Subbarami Reddy. Later, for the Jagarana, devotional and cultural programmes are to be conducted for the public.
TSR Kalaapeetham will be honoured to well-known film director K. Raghavendra Rao with the title of Viswa Vikhyata Darsaka Brahma. Political and movie celebrities including Brahmananda, Chiranjeevi and others will also be participating in the grand Sivaratri celebrations.
