AP pensioner loses life after collecting pension in Mydukuru

In a tragic incident, a 75-year-old man died soon after he received the pension money.

The incident occurred on Monday at a post-office in Mydukuru. Araveti Obanna is said to have worried over not getting his pension even after running from pillar to post. Obanna went to the post office for four days continuously, but he could not get the amount due to technical glitches in the biometric machines. On Monday too, a distraught Obanna came to the office along with his wife Lachavva. This time he received the pension amount but unfortunately died soon after receiving it.

He came from a long way in the scorching heat.The elderly man asked for water and lost consciousness. Later, he fell down on the ground and died on the spot.l
