Ongole: Three boys drowned at sea and another went missing at Pottisubbayapalem village in Vetapalem mandal of Prakasam district on Sunday evening.
According to information, four boys belonging to Ramannapeta went to the sea for swimming at around 4 pm. Three of them were swept away by the strong tides while they were swimming. Their bodies were retrieved from the sea by local fishermen. The deceased were identified as Shaik Nagurvali (15), Shaik Subhani (17) and Babi (16). Yusuf (15) was also feared drowned in the incident. His body is yet to be traced. Chirala Rural Circle Inspector B Papa Rao rushed to the spot to oversee the search operation for the missing body.
