Master the subject for career growth

Veeras Infotek Private Limited business manager S Amruth Kumar has urged students to invent new things for the benefit of society. Participating as a chief guest in a national level technical and management meet `JIGNASA-2015' at Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikharjuna Rao (PSCMR) College of Engineering and Technology in One Town on Monday, he said, “Students should enhance their subject knowledge through various sources without limiting themselves to textbooks. It will enable them master the subject for their career growth,'' he said.

College president Ch Mallikharjuna Rao said that the conduct of technical and management meets on a regular basis would help students acquire more knowledge from the resource persons, besides keeping them abreast of latest technological advancements in the modern world. “The college management has laid emphasis on conduct of technical and management meets regularly to make students industry ready,’’ he said.

JIGNASA featured paper presentation, technical and business quiz, entrepreneur skills, debate, problem solving and cultural events, in which about 450 students from various colleges took part.Later, Amruth Kumar and college principal K Nageswara Rao gave away prizes to the winners of various events. College secretary Sriram Radhakrishna Murthy, joint secretary G Pavan Kumar, treasurer K Venkateswara Rao and other faculty members were present.
