Who Is Behind YS Jagan\'s Threats To Dethrone Chandrababu? What is the secret behind the new found confidence and prediction of YSRC President Jagan Mohan Reddy that he will come to power in 2 years.
What is the secret behind the new found confidence and prediction of YSRC President Jagan Mohan Reddy that he will come to power in 2 years. His recent statements that Chandrababu Naidu's days are numbered may appear hollow to politicians, but political circles say some vested elements are behind Jagan and provoking him to make such statements.
Jagan's fresh statement of dethroning Chandrababu Naidu has become a talking point in Assembly, Secretariat and also political parties. Naturally, this displays whether he has some undercurrent deal with the BJP at the centre and also if his talk of "dethroning" incumbent CM Chandrababu Naidu has any sense of reality.
Jagan's claims and challenges have been one of the hot topics discussed at the marathon meeting of AP cabinet, ahead of the budget session. The cabinet meeting which began at 10.45 was still on at the L block in the secretariat till late evening. After three hours of official business, Chandrababu and Ministers were trying to hammer out a political solution to Jagan's tantrums in public and give him a fitting reply in the Assembly beginning during week end.
One feels that Jagan chose a wrong time to attack Chandrababu and should have instead directed his salvo against NDA government for the injustice done in the Union Budget and 14th Finance Commission. His stoic silence on the issue and firing salvos at Chandrababu has surprised many and raised doubts of Jagan receiving support from the dissidents in TDP and other disgruntled leaders of the ruling clique.
Given that Jagan yet again expressed his wish to become CM during his visit to Guntur and "promised" the farmers that he'd return their lands soon after coming to power by playing it to the galleries. At a time over 4 years is left for the general elections and the State government is having full majority on its own, Jagan's frequent statements on occupying power is baffling several and hinting that someone is behind Jagan.
Although it's speculative, many in the NTR trust bhavan say that there was a big force acting behind Jagan. And they say that the CBI and Enforcement Directorate have not taken action against Jagan only because of the connivance of these forces in the power that be in Delhi and in corridors of power everywhere.
Perhaps that is why Jagan is tight-lipped on the Budget allocations, Polavaram allocations. All these points are adding fuel to speculation that possibly someone was behind Jagan and deliberately posing hurdles in the process of pitfall formation smooth essaying of water and power sharing in the state .
