AP Ministers Ravela Kishore and Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy were at pains to clarify that the government required only 7242 acres for the construction of the capital and the rest of the land acquired under land pooling was towards urban infrastructure only.

Both the ministers slammed the YSRC president YS Jaganmohan Reddy as an anti-development force , a politician rejected by people and one who was shrouded in economic offenses who had no real locus standi to speak for the people .
They said while the Chandrababu Naidu govt aimed to construct a world class capital and the Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy was all out to scuttle it and foil the development agenda of the government . ' But the ministers had no answer to as to why the TDP was talking about ' 7000 acres' only after Pawan Kalyan entry into scene.
