Martial arts for girls to be introduced in schools.Development cannot be possible without participation of women in all fields, said minister for Labour and employment, K Atchennaidu. He participated in celebrations held on Sunday at Srikakulam to mark international day for women.

The Minister suggested that women discharge their duties and official functions without seeking aid form their husbands. He explained that State government was planning to introduce self-protection training to girls in schools by as early as possible.
He appealed to the women and girls to learn latest technical advancements in cell phones and computers to face attacks against them effectively and to prevent them. Srikakulam MP K Rammohan Naidu, ZP Chairperson Ch Dhanalaxmi, District Collector, P Laxminarasimham, MLAs and officials also spoke at the programme.
