Reviewing the status of sand mining and sale-about 53,000 cubic metres of sand is being sold daily, he said the sale should be enhanced and sand mining operations should commence in total of 307 sand reaches instead of 286 sand reaches now.
He urged officials to ensure that the DWACRA women groups are provided skill development courses with adult education and other training to make them more efficient and turn them into entrepreneurs.
