Talking to reporters at Secretariat, the Information Minster told that Jagan was working as a henchman of KCR and that a day after Jagan raising the Pattiseema issue, KCR had written to the Center protesting against the project. Dr Palle also said, “Jagan is not keen for development of Rayalaseenma. Only with starving, unemployed youth, depraved women and children in Rayalaseema, Jagan hoped to continue factional and criminal hegemony”.
The Minister said the Pattiseema project aimed at diverting 300 of the 2000 TMC of Godavari water that was getting wasted into the sea at a cost of Rs.1300 crore.
