“The Greenfield facility built over five lakh square feet will offer direct employment to 300 and indirect employment to 2,000 people. Also, it will be South India’s first tier-4 certified data centre,” says Kalyan Muppaneni, founder and chief executive officer of Pi Data Centre Private Limited.


The facility will be equipped with 5,000 server racks and each rack will handle 42 server units. Construction works will commence in two months and operations are likely to commence in April next year. “Data centre will meet the demand for quality data centre service to companies both in the country and abroad. It has attracted investors from United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Taiwan and will go for public issue by the end of 2018,” says Kalyan Muppaneni.
