Hyderabad: Anantapur recorded the day’s highest maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius on Friday, even as the day temperature appreciably fell at one or two places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. It was appreciably below normal at one or two places in coastal AP and in Rayalaseema.

The lowest minimum temperature of 19 degrees Celsius was recorded in Nandigama, Jangamaheswarapuram and Arogyavaram. The maximum temperature recorded in coastal AP was: Bapatla 34, Kakinada 35, Kalingapatnam 33, Kavali 34, Machilipatnam 35, Nandigama 39, Narsapur 34, Nellore 36, Ongole 35, Jangamaheswarapuram 35, Tuni 35, Vijayawada 37,Visakhapatnam AP 34, Anantapur 40, Arogyavaram 37, Kurnool 39, Tirupati 36 degrees Celsius.

In Telangana the maximum temperature appreciably rose at one or two places. It was normal across the State. The highest maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius was recorded in Bhadrachalam, Mahabubnagar and Nizamabad. The minimum temperatures changed slightly in the State. It was below normal at one or two places. The lowest minimum temperature of 19 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad. The maximum temperatures recorded in Telangana were: Adilabad 36, Bhadrachalam 39, Hakimpet 35, Hanamakonda 37, Hyderabad 37, Mahabubnagar 39, Medak 37, Nalgonda 37, Nizamabad 39, Ramagundam 37 degrees Celsius.
