Nara Lokesh, the TDP leader and son of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is all set to get an elevation in his post. It's public knowledge that Lokesh is eyeing the CM chair. In a step closer to his goal, Lokesh will be entrusted with additional responsibilities by his father.

Lokesh is actively involved in all the party activities and calls the shots with respect to key decisions in party and government. Chandrababu appointed his son as coordinator of welfare funds to look into the well being of party workers. Lokesh has been fulfilling his responsibility well and gained popularity among party men and proved his mettle by launching welfare schemes.

Lokesh has also planned a Yatra a large YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Odarpu Yatra in AP and Telangana. Lokesh's yatra will begin from April 14 during which the TDP leader will console families of party leaders who died either in accidents or political violence in the last decade.

Now, Chandrababu is all set to give his son a key role. The anointment will take place at TDP's annual conclave, Mahanadu which is scheduled to take place between May 27 to May 29. This time Mahanadu will be extra special as it will be held in the new AP capital Amaravathi, where Lokesh will get close to turning Yuvaraaja.
