Chandrababu to sign 13 MoUs with China Andhra Pradesh government will sign 13 Memoranda of Understandings (MoUs) with various Chinese companies during the six-day tour to China which began on Sunday as the AP delegation led by Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu landed at Beijing today.

At Beijing, the AP delegation will sign six government-to-business (G2B) MoUs. First with the Camel Group Co. Ltd; a company engaged in the research and development, manufacture, distribution and recycling of storage batteries.


Second MoU with industry body, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) which promoted China's international economic and commercial interests with foreign countries; the next MoU with CCPIT for the construction sector.


The government will ink a MoU with the Guizhou International Investment Corporation that visited Vizag in November last year exploring investment prospects in the coastal belt. Another MoU is scheduled with Sinoma International Engineering Co. Ltd which operates in equipment manufacturing and supply and engineering sector.


A MoU with New Hope Liuhe Co. Limited for integration of farming industry operations, such as feed production, livestock breeding and slaughtering, and meat processing. Later on under the business-to-business (B2B) segment, AP will sign two key MoUs with Chinese industries in Beijing.


1. Vertex Cements (India) and Sinoma will sign a MoU. Vertex Cements which plans to set up their cement unit at Gangavaram in Guntur district.


2. MoU between apparels gaint Brandix and Chinese exporter of blankets, Jiangsu Kingday Textile Co. Ltd at Beijing.


In their second destination - Chengdu, the AP government will sign three MoUs with the Chinese companies Sichuan Chuanyi Automation Co. Ltd, an industry in supply, erection, commission of automated instrumentation for industrial uses, real estate company Panzhihua Guanghua Group Real Estate Development Ltd and another with Sichuan Vehiline Information Technology Co. Ltd. The India-based Energy sector firm VSF Energy will sign MoU with China Western Power Industrial Co Ltd. for power equipment etc.

On the last leg of the AP CM's tour to Shanghai, (under business-to-business segment), GMR will sign Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese toy-maker Pals Plush to set up its only overseas operations at Sri City. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is also scheduled to meet with the Deputy PM of China and also number of industrialists, investors and businessmen inviting them to explore the investment opportunities in the state.
