The MP said that he was extended invitation to participate in a programme in Pithapuram constituency on Saturday after its conclusion.

Kakinada: Lok Sabha member and TDP parliamentary Party leader Thota Venkata Narasimham during the conduct of Vigilance and Monitoring Committee meeting on Saturday brought the issue of protocol violation to the notice of the District Collector. The MP said that he was extended invitation to participate in a programme in Pithapuram constituency on Saturday after its conclusion.

Explaining the details, he said that AP Medical and Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas participated in two programmes at Pithapuram and U- Kothapalli in Pithapuram Assembly Constituency in East Godavari under Kakinada Lok Sabha segment on Saturday around 10.30 in the morning. But the medical authorities extended the invitation to him at 1.30 in the noon.

Deploring the attitude of officials, he handed over the invitation to District Collector Arun Kumar who is also in the meeting, affixing the time of receipt along with his signature on it. The District Collector responding to the MP’s grievance said that he will seek explanation from DMHO, Dr. Savitramma on the issue.
