The Met office has warned thunderstorm accompanied by squall/ hailstorm at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Tuesday. Isolated heavy rain may occur in Rayalaseema. On Sunday, rainfall occurred at a few places in Rayalaseema and Telangana. Isolated rainfall occurred in coastal Andhra Pradesh.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded (in cm) were: Andhra Pradesh: Sambepalle 10, Chinnamandem 8, Satyavedu, Kadiri 7 each, Guntakal 6, Hindupur, Lepakshi, Gooty, Proddutur, Chilamathur, Rayadurg, Nallamada, Agali, Gorantla and Rajampet 5 each.Telangana: Vikarabad 7, Hyderabad, Peddemul 6 each, Parigi, Golconda, Nalgonda, Maheswaram and Ramannapet 5 each. The Met office forecast rain or thundershowers at many places in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States during the next five days.
