Popular Music Director Kommineni Srinivasa Chakravarthy alias Sri who breathed his last on Saturday due to kidney failure has left a void in the Telugu Film Industry. On Sunday, YSR Congress Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his condolences over the death of the music director.
Kommineni Srinivasa Chakravarthy, the second son of Music Director late Chakravarthi passed away on April 18.
Sri as he was popularly known gained his recognition through his music in movies such as ‘Little Soldiers’, Gulabi’, ‘Sindhuram’, ‘Gayam’, Anaganaga Oka Roju’, etc. Apart from scoring tunes, he also lent his voice with the song in Chakram –‘Jagamantha Kutumbam Nadhi’. ‘Chandamama Lo Amrutham’ was his last work as a musician in the industry. The musician is survived by his wife and son Rajesh Chakravarthy.
