The new TTD Chief took part in a felicitation-cum-informal chat with the media persons, organised by the Tirupati media, at the Press Club in Tirupati on Sunday. Stating that the local media persons were very well aware of his entire life and political growth, Krishnamurthy said that he wanted to lead the TTD Trust Board by example and in line with the sentiments of millions of devotees of Lord Venkateswara. ‘Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who hails from this very district, holds the affairs of the Tirumala temple very close to his heart.

The Chief Minister has directed us to place the interests of the common devotees above all others. As such, the new TTD Trust Board would affect the reforms to provide the best of amenities to the visiting devotees and ensure a hassle-free darshan to the pilgrims by all means', he added. Answering a query, the new TTD Chief stated that he will not use TTD vehicles and not get any special office allocated for the Chairman.

# 'I don’t want to use or misuse TTD assets and properties in the capacity of the Chairman. Though a few chairmen in the past have set up massive offices at Tirumala, I would not get an office allocated for myself', he reiterated.
