The Telugu Desam Government has launched a campaign ‘Chandranna Vijayalu’, a month before Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will complete one year in office – June 8. The Campaign is intended to publicize its victories (Vijayagadhalu) or the welfare schemes successes that includes the loan waiver scheme which faced a lot of criticism from the YSRC and Congress.

The move is said to counteract the Opposition’s claims of TDP failing to fulfill promises of loan waiver for DWCRA women and farmers, monthly allowance to unemployed youth, etc. With village meetings, review meetings, public meetings, press releases and media conferences, the Chief Minister along with his Cabinet are utilizing every platform to publicize the victories achieved by the Mr Naidu’s government in the past one year.
Mr Naidu also stated that it is a rare feat of achievement in the waiving crop loans and enhancing rice quota to the poor by the TD government. On June 8, victory rallies and victory meeting will be organized by the AP Government in 13 districts of the state.
Directing the government officials to publicize the victories of the TD government, Information and public relations minister Palle Raghunath Reddy said that Neeru-Chettu programme has been launched to make the state drought free and Pattiseema lift-irrigation project for the supply of drinking and irrigation water to Rayalseema.
