Thundershowers likely in Telangana, north coastal AP

Hyderabad: The maximum temperatures fell appreciably below normal at one or two places in Telangana and Rayalaseema, fell at a few places in rest of Rayalaseema and at one or two places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh, besides Telangana.The day temperatures were appreciably below normal at a few places in Telangana, at one or two places in south coastal AP, below normal at one or two places in Rayalaseema and rest of south coastal AP.

The highest maximum temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius was recorded in Kurnool and Jangamaheswarapuram. The recordings elsewhere were: Bapatla 36, Kakinada 38, Kalingapatnam 34, Kavali 37, Machilipatnam 37, Nandigama 36, Narsapur 37, Nellore 37, Ongole 36, Tuni 37, Vijayawada 37,Visakhapatnam AP 36, Anantapur 38, Arogyavaram 36, Kadapa 38 and Tirupati 39.

In Telangana, the highest maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius was recorded in Mahabubnagar The other recordings were: Adilabad 38, Bhadrachalam 36,Hakimpet 36, Hanmakonda 39, Hyderabad 38, Khammam 38, Medak 38, Nizamabad 38 and Ramagundam 39.

The Met office said on Monday that thunderstorm with squall may occur at isolated places in north coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on May 12. On May 14, thunderstorm with squall may occur at isolated places in Telangana.
