Special officer of the government, Kambampati Ramamohan Rao on Saturday said that the Andhra Pradesh government has arranged buses for the safe return of pilgrims who were stranded at Badrinath.


Mr Rao said that over 180 pilgrims from AP were directed to stay on hills on Saturday and would come down on Sunday morning while 12 persons AP were rescued with the help of Army helicopters as they were suffering from health issues.


He added that all the pilgrims would reach New Delhi in 1-2 days.
