Many places have hardly received any rainfall while a few regions in Telangana recorded scanty rainfall.
According to the India Meteorological Department., the maximum temperature stood at 39.4ºC degrees Celsius in Nellore, kavali was in second place at 39.3ºC. In many parts of AP, temperature rose from 5 degrees the previous day.
While in Telangana, the maximum temperature stood at 36.1ºC in Hanmakonda.
The IMD officials say that Several places in AP and Telangana will receive cool showers in the next five days.
