Nandyal YSRCP MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy has been granted bail by the SC, ST Special Court in Kurnool on Wednesday. The MLA was ordered by the Court to produce a personal bond worth Rs 10, 000.

Cases were filed by the Kurnool police against the MLA under the SC, ST Atrocities Act for allegedly clashing with DSP Devadanam during MLC election where the latter had been supervising the election process.
The YSRCP MLA was remanded for 14 days on the cases registered under IPC section 353, 188, 506 while his lawyers filed petition, three days back and the hearing took place on Wednesday following which the bail was granted.
