Visakhapatnam: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the telephone tapping and led by Superintendent of Police G Srinivas, arrived here on Saturday to take up further investigation into the case. Cases were filed in the Three-Town police station in the city and rural stations of Yelamanchili, Anakapalle, Narsipatnam, Payakaraopeta, Chodavaram and Paderu against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on charges of tapping the phones of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, his Cabinet colleagues and important officials.


The team summoned the complainants to a guest house near Kailasagiri and held discussions with them in connection with the case. In all, eight members were questioned including TDP organising secretary Sanapala Ranga Rao.
