Sujana Choudary: AP to be granted Special Status by end of August

With the discussion of according Special Status category to Andhra Pradesh turning into an ongoing debate, TDP MP Sujana Choudary on Saturday informed that AP will be soon granted Special Status.

Stating that he and Ashoka Gajapati Raju were pursuing the issue, the TDP MP informed that AP will be accorded the status by the end of August. Addressing a Parliament Committee meeting, Sujana Choudhary said that separate railway zone issues, Polavaram project and Section 8 issue which is an integral part of AP Reorganisation Act will be brought up in the next Parliament session.
