Centre writes letter to AP Govt over delay in Polavaram works

With the Polavaram Project works being delayed, the Central government-constituted Polavaram Project Authority (PPA) is dissatisfied. Hence to bring it the notice of AP Government, the PPA Chief Executive Officer Dinesh Kumar wrote a letter stating that the Polavaram project works reached only 2% completion in the duration of five months.

Officials who are monitoring the project alleged that the Transstroy company that is executing the contract works of Polavaram is the reason behind the delay and not the AP Government.
