A complaint was lodged over the death of Congress activist Muni Koti before the State Human Rights Commission in Hyderabad on Monday.
The 46-year-old Congress worker died of burn injuries after immolating himself in a protest organized by the Congress demanding special status for the state.
The AP Student JAC held the TDP and BJP responsible for Koti's death and requested the SHRC to take action against them. Koti's body reached Tirupati and final rites will be performed in the evening.
