Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly opposition leader and YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has begun the protest for the AP Special Status at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.


Raising the slogan, “Special status AP’s right” YS Jagan on Monday morning was accompanied by thousands of YSRCP leaders and supporters from AP. The YSRCP Chief along with his supporters after the Dharna would march towards the Parliament.


The Dharna commenced with a moment of silence in reverence to the Congress activist Muni Koti who committed suicide by setting himself ablaze on Saturday demanding special status for AP. The Congress activist succumbed to the burn injuries on Sunday in a Chennai hospital.
