AP Assembly starts on a stormy note as YSRCP protests Special Status delay

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly session began on a stormy note as the main opposition party YSRCP created a huge uproar in the House over delay in granting the Special Status to AP.

Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao rejected the adjournment motion filed by the YSRCP demanding a debate on the special status. Following the rejection of adjournment motion, the YSRCP MLAs raised slogans against the government.

YSR Congress party chief and leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy demanded that the TDP to pull out its leaders from the Central Government. Proceedings of the day began after paying tributes to former President APJ Abdul Kalam.
