Chandrababu sets 25% growth target for temples

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu addressing a review meeting of the Endowments Department in Vijayawada on Friday stressed on the need for review of accounts of every temple whose income has crossed Rs. 1 crore.

Setting a target of 25 per cent growth in revenue of temples in the State, the Chief Minister said that the temples need to put into service religious programmes that expand the devotee rush. Chandrababu said that every temple should be a growth centre and finance advisors should be appointed to check on the Temple funds.
