YSR Congress president and Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to go on an indefinite fast from October 7 seeking grant of special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
The proposed indefinite fast of YS Jagan was postponed as the TDP Government denied permission.
Speaking to the media persons,YSRCP leader Botsa Satyanarayana said that YS Jagan would continue deeksha in Guntur only.
"Has the TDP not staged dharnas and protests in Hyderabad? Andhra Pradesh was formed because of the fast of Potti Sreeramulu," he said.
The YSRCP had moved the court through a house motion petition, but the court has directed the party to submit in the regular form.
