AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him for the stone laying ceremony of AP capital, Amaravati to be held on October 22.

Chandrababu said that the Prime Minister agreed to attend the ceremony as the Chief Guest. The Chief Minister held discussions with PM Modi over the AP Capital construction where he informed that AP Government plans to develop Amaravati as blue-green city and a people's capital. Chandrababu also explained to Modi that his suggestions in the capital construction plan have been incorporated.

The Chief Minister even met Union Minister for Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari and discussed regarding a waterway between Kakinada and Puducherry with a distance of 1070 km.
