Speaking at the fast venue, YS Jagan demanded that AP be granted special state status as was promised during the bifurcation of the state.
He said the state would enjoy excise, customs, corporate tax and income tax concessions if the special status was granted to it.
"If the state get a special status tag, it will get in the ratio of 90 percent grants and 10 percent loans. There will be tax exemptions to industries. Jobs will be generated for students. We need to bring pressure on the TDP government and Chandrababu," he said, calling the people of the state.
"Why is Chandrababu not asking for special status and why is he staying mum on this? There will be a day when we will throw Chandrababu's misrule into the Bay of Bengal. " he said.
