AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu finally broke his silence over YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Deeksha for AP Special Status and stated that the latter might be seeking support from the central government over his cases which is the reason for him taking part in the hunger strike.

Chandrababu said that Andhra Pradesh is the new state after bifurcation, hence it should be taken care of with better administration which requires support from central government also. The Chief Minister clarified that he is not willing to take a stand against the Centre as the state needs support.

Meanwhile YS Jagan has entered the fifth day of Deeksha in Guntur and his health condition is deteriorating, supporters and activists are expressing concern.
