Andhra Pradesh government has been making grand arrangements for the AP Capital, Amaravati foundation laying ceremony that is to be held on October 22. From dignitaries including PM Narendra Modi to special programmes, the AP government is making preparations for a grand ceremony.
Speaking to around 5,500 Janmabhoomi committee members through teleconference, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked them to celebrate the ceremony as a festival. According to the reports, over 24,000 farmers will be invited for the foundation ceremony and each family will be given special clothes on the occasion.
