YSR Congress party spokesperson Tammineni Sitaram speaking to the media said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had assured during the elections that he would not increase fares that included RTC charges for the next five years but now he is turning back on his words.
Demanding the rollback of the bus fare hike, Tammineni said that only the private bus operators would benefit from the hike. The YSRCP leader further added that Chandrababu's preferences are shown through the bus fare hike and cut down in VAT and liquor prices.
