YSRCP opposes APSRTC hike
Terming the APSRTC bus fare hike as a bad step, the YSRCP opposed the hike in Andhra Pradesh and demanded the hike be cancelled.
Terming the APSRTC bus fare hike as a bad step, the YSRCP opposed the hike in Andhra Pradesh and demanded the hike be cancelled. The YSR Congress party questioned AP Government's reason to hike the fares particularly when the price of crude oil is coming down in the international market.

The party stated that Chandrababu's government has made the prices of essential commodities go up with the move to increase the VAT on diesel by 22.5 per cent and another Rs 4 as additional tax. Stating that the prices of the district buses along with Express and Deluxe buses hiked is a burden on common man, YSRCP said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is repeating the same pattern of hike the RTC bus fares which he had followed five times before.
