Interestingly, actor and politician Nandamuri Bala Krishna made similar comments today. The Hindupur MLA said that denial of special status is shameful to the self respect of Telugus.
He participated in a programme conducted by Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital.
Replying to a question on the Special Status to AP, Bala Krishna said that the Centre will have to face dire consequences if it does not grant the special status to AP.
He also said that the AP government will strive hard for the special status.
