Prakasam: Techie ends life as lover's parents seek dowry
A woman techie committed suicide at Bodduvanipalem village in Korisapadu mandal of Prakasam district after her boyfriend\'s parents allegedly demanded dowry for their marriage. The young techie Komali was found hanging inside her house on Sunday morning.
A woman techie committed suicide at Bodduvanipalem village in Korisapadu mandal of Prakasam district after her boyfriend's parents allegedly demanded dowry for their marriage. The young techie Komali was found hanging inside her house on Sunday morning.
According to reports, Komali and Venkatesh Prasad are friends from their childhood and they were in a relationship for several years. They recently secured jobs in Bangalore.
The duo had planned to get married and told the same to their parents. But Venkatesh's parents allegedly demanded huge dowry for the marriage. Pained by this, Komali allegedly committed suicide at her home.
Komali came to spend her Dasara vacation and she did not leave a suicide note.
Police registered a case and began investigation.
