Yanamala RamakrishnuduHyderabad: Reiterating that the State government will not compromise on State interests including special status and people’s welfare, Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Saturday clarified that the government will fulfil people’s aspirations by bargaining hard with the Centre. He came es down heavily on YSRCP and Congress and brands them as ‘traitors’ and ‘anti-democratic forces”

He said in a statement that his government will not cow down by the threats given by the main opposition YSR Congress party on special status. “We are not ready to fight against the Centre and neighbouring States at the cost of people’s interests. Our government will pursue every issue with Centre and solve them amicably,” the Minister said.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been insisting the Union government during his every official visit to New Delhi on special status and special package to AP as promised by the BJP in 2014 election, Yanamala added.

Ramakrishnudu took strong objection to the YSR Congress party president’s comments on “Neeru – Matti” programme taken up for the construction of new capital. Jagan encroached upon all Panchabhutas during his father and former CM Y S R’s regime, so has no moral right to comment on TDP government.
