Hyderabad: Tollywood hero and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has asked the Central government to grant Special Status for Andhra Pradesh immediately.
Addressing the media at the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk organised by the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute here on Sunday, Balakrishna said the Special Status would help the state develop in all aspects.
By not giving Special Status to Andhra Pradesh, the Centre is insulting the Telugu people and this would lead to unpleasant consequences, he said.
