Dachepalli (Guntur): A man murdered his wife and her paramour at Nadikudi village in Dachepalli mandal on Sunday. According to police, Akkenapalli Hanumaiah (34) married Divya (24) eight years ago. Sources say that Divya has an extramarital relationship with Nageswara Rao (32) of the same village.
Police said that Hanumaiah hatched a plan to eliminate his wife and her paramour having learnt about their illegal relationship. In pursuance of the plan, he stabbed Divya to death with a knife at his house.
Later, he took Nageswara Rao to the outskirts of the village on some pretext and murdered him. After committing the double murder, Hanumaiah surrendered to the police. A case was registered and police are investigating.
