Privatisation of government hospitals was the main reason in ruining the public health care in the residual Andhra Pradesh, she opined. Rural and tribal areas in particular continue to face neglect in terms of health services and medical infrastructure resulting in more number of deaths.

Measures should be taken by the government in operating the 104, 108 ambulance services during emergencies in the interest of public health care. She also wanted the government to focus on providing better medication facilities at affordable prices to the people.
