A first year student named Sairam from RIMS Medical College attempted suicide in Kadapa. Sairam hung himself in his hostel room but his friends in the nick of time saved him and rushed him to a hospital.
While Sairam's condition is said to be stable, the suicide letter found stated that he had taken the extreme step unable to handle the pressure of studies.
