Visakhapatnam: Dr Subhash Chandra Sati, an outstanding scientist took over as Director General (Naval Systems and Materials), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) from Dr V Bhujanga Rao here on Sunday.
An aeronautics expert Subhash Chandra was the Director of Aerial Delivery Research & Development Establishment (ADRDE), Agra prior assuming charge as Director General, Naval Systems and Materials here.
He was specialised in Electro-Hydraulic Control Systems, Launcher Systems, Parachutes and Heavy Drop Systems, Aerostats and Modelling and Simulation for multi-domain mechanical systems. Bhujanga Rao laid down the office after completion of a successful tenure of 42-and-a-half years of service in defence research and DRDO.
