According to reports, the police who formed several teams to nab Chintu, took him into their custody on Tuesday itself. However, higher officials in the police department are yet to confirm the news. Chintu is a marine engineering graduate and was the nephew of deceased Anuradha.
The first woman mayor of Chittoor, Katari Anuradha and her husband K. Mohan were killed in a pre-meditated attack at her office chambers in broad daylight on Tuesday. Soon after the incident, Chintu went hiding and police launched a man hunt to nab him.
