Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu slammed the TD leaders and district officers on Saturday over relief measures. In a review meeting, Chandrababu demanded the reason behind the delay in the official machinery when a warning was received four days back on the possibility of heavy rains.

The Chief Minister pointed out that even after four days in the rain affected areas, the officials could not co-ordinate with the people's representatives indicating their failure. Chandrababu who is touring the flood affected districts in the state decided to stay back in Nellore to monitor the relief operations and said that all the encroachments on irrigation canals would be removed within three months.
