Sattenapalle (Guntur): A miscreant claiming himself employee of electricity department to record metre reading snatched away gold chain of the housewife at knife point here on Saturday.
The miscreant posing as an AP Transco worker entered the house and placed a knife on the neck of little girl and threatened to kill the girl if the house wife did not part with her gold ornaments. He snatched the gold chain weighing three tolas and fled after locking both mother and the little girl. The lady lodged a complaint with the police on the incident.
