According to police, a speeding Scorpio hit Obul Reddy (35) and his wife Hussainamma (32) while they were going to Sri Chowdeswari Devi temple on a motorcycle, along with their eight-year-old daughter. The injured couple, who hail from Rajupalem in Kadapa district, were admitted to local hospital.
The condition of the couple is stated to be critical. Their daughter escaped with minor injuries. A case was registered and investigation is on.
